- JKJonathan KDec 19, 20255.0After breaking a molar and being in some serious pain shortly before Thanksgiving, my dentist referred me to Dr. Brian Mantor. Whenever you're referred to a periodontist, things are usually pretty bad. Dr. Brian explained that I would need to have the molar extracted. And, I would need a bone graft and a sinus lift. Like an idiot, I Googled it and saw just how horribly painful that procedure could be. However, Brian had such a genuine and calming demeanor. And he took the time to really explain how each procedure would go and why it was necessary. I left my consultation feeling significantly better about my surgery. A week later, I went in and had everything done in about an hour. He did such an amazing job. My pain was minimal and I didn't even have any swelling or bruising. Followed up a few days ago and everything is right on track. The aftercare is just as important to them. Next up will be taking care of the implant. Should you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing a periodontist, I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mantor and his staff.
