  I came here to NV to visit my family member, we had went to a friends house and that friends dog chewed my glasses. I remembered about pearl vision for my home city so I called that got me in that day and was able to fit me with a new pair the listen to my needs and was very professional thank you to the store on Rainbow 👍🏽

  UPDATE: I called again a week later, and they STILL have not updated their business hours (despite MULTIPLE employees both in person and via phone being notified about this issue). Pearle Vision clearly doesn’t care about its customers having access to the proper information. The only way to know that the Windmill location is closed on Sunday and Monday is to either 1) call them OR 2) physically show up and look at the posted hours on their door. Ridiculous business practices. I will never again bring my health concerns to such an unprofessional organization in the future. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I definitely will NOT be coming back to this Pearle Vision location. When making my appointment, I specifically visited the website of the WINDMILL location (8025 S Rainbow Blvd). It should be noted that I confirmed the “store info” through their website, in which it lists the location, phone number, and hours of the business. Their days/hours are listed as open every single day of the week. After securing my same day appointment, I only received notifications regarding patient forms and the TIME of my appointment ONLY. No address was provided in the confirmation text. This is very aggravating, considering that the listed business hours for THAT specific location are INCORRECT and do not match the hours of other locations. Interestingly, that specific location is closed on Sundays and Mondays (as confirmed by a representative over the phone), yet their office hours are listed as open every single day of the week. Not only did the WEBSITE provide incorrect information, but the individual that I spoke to on the phone proceeded to behave as if I was making the information up (resulting in me asking for communication with their manager to provide direct proof of information). After arriving at the correct location (which had to be confirmed by the representative on the phone instead of simply receiving an email or text confirming the address), the front desk staff were unable to find my insurance. As a dependent whose policy holder currently uses and RECOMMEND that I visit Pearle Vision, it was frustrating that neither of my parents’ insurance were found until ANOTHER employee had to check on a different computer. Even WITH my EyeMed card, there were still issues with finding my insurance that was ALREADY IN USE by the policy holder at a different Pearle Vision. Following this issue, I was presented with numerous pricing options that exceeded any prior costs from previous eye exam vists. I was informed that my contact lens fitting fee would be doubled simply due to my astigmatism (which has never previously occurred before despite my long history with astigmatism lenses). While this may be a regular practice, I am not going to continue to visit a provider that charges more for something that I cannot control when compared to my previous provider. They also repeatedly push for dilation or a $44 exam, both of which were not heavily promoted at previous offices (they take no for an answer the first time, unlike this location). My actual experience during my exam was somewhat frustrating. The individual that was perfoming initial assessments felt the need to make comments like “Dang that’s a high prescription” and “Yea it must be hard to see with that.” As an individual who requires a high prescription and is already insecure about 1) the cost of vision care and 2) how high my prescription is, comments like these made me uncomfortable being within that environment. I do not appreciate comments being made about my prescription unless it is specifically related to my care (especially when the individual is not my specialist). At the end of my visit, I was asked and reminded multiple times to make my next appointment despite clarifying that I would make the appointment when I was ready. Businesses that are unable to take “no” for an answer are insanely annoying to deal with. For all of these combined reasons listed, I will not return to Pearle Vision at 7090 S Rainbow Blvd (or any Pearle Vision for that matter).
