I should be put on payroll for how long I was at this location. My appointment was @ 2:50pm, its a 5 min drive from my apartment over on Buffalo, and I just got home at 6:30pm — i was there PAST closing. I dont know WHAT was going on but my god almost four hours for my daughter and I to get basic eye exams and picking out frames is insane. Most of the staff were nice or neutral professional, except when I asked for a water after being there for 2 hours and the lady from the front desk smiled, said she'd get us water and then I saw her clock out and walk out the front door. I just would not recommend scheduling during peak hours, or maybe they were short staffed or double/triple booked for whatever reason idk but yeah very apprehensive about showing up for the 3 month follow up the doctor wanted us to come for. I took time off of work to make this appt so really I felt a little (a lot) like I was getting played with like my time wasn't valued.

When I called about my daughter's glasses the person who answered the phone had a nasty attitude. When I went into the office the front desk attendant has a nasty attitude. This left me frustrated as I would usually cause a scene but I reframed because I just wanted to get my daughter's glasses fixed. I was told the wait would be 30-45 minutes just to look at my daughter's glasses when assistants are just standing around. Shortly after one of the assistants came over to help and was the most pleasant of all of them. I wish I would've gotten her name. But once I get my daughter's prescription I'll most likely will be finding a different office and one closer to where we live. Customer service at this location in unprofessional.

I did not have a pleasant experience.
When I arrived the ladies checking me were great. The optometrists assistant was great as well, friendly, personable, and all around great attitude. She made sure to educate me on everything she was doing. Her name was Diana.
Where things took a turn for the worse was when the doctor walked in, she went by Dr. B. She was really nice had a great attitude but I did not feel like I was at a vision center anymore, it felt more like I was buying a used car. The entire time I felt like she was upselling me with sweet little nothings. At that point I became so overwhelmed that I no longer wanted to purchase glasses and left.
I am not saying don’t buy glasses here, I am just saying be prepared to be upsold. I understand it’s a business but bring the focus back to the individual you are serving. Understand the customer before you start saying you need this and that. To give an example I already have a pair of glasses that are for blue light only, the doctor never asked if I used blue light glasses or any qualifying questions but made the recommendation. If she had taken time to get to know me, it would have made the experience better. I had a pair of sunglasses with polar lenses in my hand, she kept recommending that I need something I already had. It was such an unpleasant experience.

Not the best experience here. I came into the office on November 22 and paid for everything at that time. I was told my glasses would be ready by December 5. On November 28, I received a voicemail from Samantha saying my glasses were ready for pickup. The message also mentioned there was a remaining balance because my insurance didn’t cover the frames, which I understood.
On December 1, I made a courtesy call to let the office know I’d be coming in the next day (December 2) to pay the balance and pick up my glasses. I was told everything was good to go.
When I arrived the next morning, I paid the balance and was then unexpectedly told I’d have to wait another three weeks to get my glasses. Naturally, I was confused and frustrated. I had been told via voicemail that the glasses were ready, and I was also told the day before that there were no issues. My frustration had nothing to do with paying the balance—it was about the lack of communication and the wasted trip.
I was then informed that the order had been placed on hold until the balance was paid, but that was never communicated to me at any point. Had I known that, this entire situation could have been avoided.
I asked to speak with a manager and was directed to Alicia, who was nearby helping another customer. She told me she would assist me after she finished, which she said would take about 30 minutes. I asked if someone else could help that customer so we could quickly clear up the misunderstanding, but she said she was the only person who could do so—despite several other associates being present. That response was disappointing and did not reflect well on her ability to handle or de-escalate a customer concern.
At that point, I asked for the contact information for the corporate office. Eventually, another associate, Lei, came over to assist me. She acted more like the manager. Lei handled the situation professionally, clearly explained what happened, acknowledged the communication breakdown, and took responsibility for resolving it. She placed a rush order for my glasses with an updated timeline of 7–10 days. While that’s still not ideal, I appreciate the effort and professionalism she showed in trying to make things right.
