  This place is horrible! My mom has a cognitive disorder where she doesn’t quite understand the values of money and she gets confused when it comes to the cost of things. She’s had a massive stroke where she had to learn to walk, talk, read , and learn everything over again. While She has recovered tremendously and has gained full independence of daily activities she still hasn’t quite mastered some of her cognitive abilities. My mom went to this place and was SOLD an extra exam that she did not need. Her glasses were covered under her insurances but because she said yes to a $45 exam she was unable to get her glasses until she paid the $45. I went to the office to get her glasses and tried to explain to the manager LOUIS that my mom didn’t understand that the extra exam was $45 she has a cognitive delay and didn’t know it would be extra. I told him I should have gone with her but I didn’t know she had the appointment. His response to me was, “if I had a parent or family member that didn’t understand the cost, I wouldn’t let them go by themselves. I would go with them so they won’t cost me money out of my pocket.” He the. Proceeded to say, “we pay billions of dollars for the equipment so the doctors can examine the patients I can’t do anything about the fee.” For me it’s not about the fee. It’s more about the way they sold someone who didnt understand that it would cost extra and WITHHELD their glasses until the money was paid!! Made smart comments about how she shouldn’t come alone then. In addition to this there were notes in the system of this happening with my mom last year and her not having the money for the extra exam but someone (me) paid it later. Maybe ask people to pay for the exam before you do it? Then you will see they don’t have the money. Or let ppl know we are more about selling you something than you getting your glasses. My mom goes here because it’s the closest to her home. Unfortunately she won’t be back…simply because they rather sell sell sell than actually care about the people that come in there. It’s unfortunate because it’s in a democratic where some just done have the extra money but you push it anyway? And hold the glasses? Read the room!! Try to meet the patients where they at!! Actually care about people!!!

  ‼️Long wait‼️ appt was on 02/09/26. My kids and I were waiting in the lobby for almost an hour. My son's appointment was at 11. They called him back at 11:55 and thats just to do the pre eye exam tests. Then he was called back at 12:25 for the eye exam. So we ended up leaving at almost 1pm. 2 hours for an eye exam. And no, we are not going to wait another hour for someone to help us with glasses. Got my son's prescription and left.

  110% Worth the wait! The place was packed when I got there and I waited a LONG time to see the optometrist. I was a little grumpy but the staff there is super nice and unflappable. Once I got in the back I realize why the wait was so long because everyone there took their time and made you feel like a person not just a number. I will be back and I will be recommending them to my friends and family.

  They have no respect for your time. Each time I came in on time it took an hour to call me back for my exam and follow up. Doesn’t matter what is found in this follow up exam I’ll never come back for any more visits

  I ordered glasses about a month ago. Still haven’t finished them. They said January 3rd they were gonna be ready. So I called January 3rd to ask if they were ready. They said “yeah they’re ready for pick up” I get there and they say ooops it’s not ready they failed 2 times so they got sent to another lab” they told me to come back Monday (Jan 5) so today I CALLED AGAIN before I drove 25 min again for no reason to make sure they’re ready. ONCE again they said “yeah they’re ready for pick up” so I drive AGAIN to that side of town and when I get in there they said the same thing “ ooops it’s not ready yet” so why in the world did you guys make me drive out here twice just for me to get there and they’re still not ready. Very unprofessional . It takes 2 minutes to stand up and go make sure they’re actually physically there before answering me. On top of you guys taking the longest to make a pair of glasses it’s highly unprofessional to make someone waste time and gas to drive to go get them. I hope to talk to manager and hopefully I get something more than a “oops sorry” also it says all calls are recorded when I call so I’m sure my phone calls should be there
