Don’t allow me to make an appointment online if you’re just going to cancel it if I don’t then call. Collect all the information you need in your form, or eliminate the form. Make it easy for me to give you money, not harder.

My daughter sees Ms. Walker and I have to say she is the most amazing and caring person I have ever met. She has improved so much with Ms. Walkers help. She does not treat you like another name on a list. She truly sees you and understands you. I wish more therapist where like her. I hope she never leaves because wherever she goes we will fallow. Thank you for everything you do and always going above and beyond.

Aloha Care therapy is really like family that loves you and care for you like no other, it is different from other places, Ms.Walker truly you are amazing, you made a huge impact in my life and still do and forever will! Therapy isn’t about the session attended but rather the work we put into with the resources given.

I had the absolute worst appointment I have ever had. My therapist stated she was a third year intern, and projected her religious views, compared traumas to my own, and I think she changed my diagnosis because of her own personal views. The appointment started late with the therapist being 5 minutes behind with a client already, and then she opened the door, still discussing personal information to her client, saying things like "do you have my phone number? Well I know how you still struggle with (x)..." Then I was rushed inside very quickly inside the office. She was very irractic and unput together, switching between intake questions, to then switching about different religious views. She told me she isn't a believer (which I have no problem with but she didn't bother asking what my views were or what my background was). She then went on to say how she believes there are "demons" in people and asked if I belive if "I would ever put a baby inside an oven." I wish I was making that up. She stated numerous times she doesn't belive in medication and belittled me because of the fact I take it, making small remarks like "oh I don't really agree with this, but you've already been on it... if you meet me sooner, I bet you wouldn't need medication..." She then went on to say that past traumas do not cause chemical imbalances in the brain, and therefore, I was not depressed because of my trauma. I was saying I was depressed and therefore I was believing I was depressed. I finally felt I had to defend myself and then opened up as to why I was there. After I talked about some of my past trauma and pain, she told me "oh I went through 10x worse than what you went through." I had to defend myself again, stating this wasn't a competition on trauma and that was incredibly unprofessional. She went on to defend herself saying how no one told her that was wrong. Oh and I don't remember in word per word order it was said but she would say the "N" word repeatedly with me (I'm white and I felt uncomfortable), and she stated I was "handsome" several of times that werent in context to what we were talking about and i felt really uncomfortable. This was my first appointment. Her name is Juandera Walker and I wrote this post having ethical concerns and questions about staff. If she truly is an intern she needs to be sat in on more frequently and btw she had no issues disclosing other patients with me. Including the 6 and 7 year old she sees regularly.
