- LKLena KotzFeb 20, 20261.0If I could give zero stars, I would. First, I want to mention that my sons and I have been visiting this specific location for many years without any problems. A couple of years ago, we went in for a routine annual examination. My oldest son is on the spectrum and usually prefers to get the same pair of glasses each year. When we returned to pick up the new glasses and ensure they fit, my son pointed out that these didn’t have a prescription in them. I asked him what he meant, and he explained that these were just clear lenses. I then informed the office manager, who laughed and said that was impossible. I urged her to check for herself, and after making rude gestures and comments, she realized my son was correct. This entire situation made us very uncomfortable, and as a protective mother, I defended my son. At that moment, the company chose to discharge us from that location instead of taking appropriate measures to resolve the issue and address their manager's behavior. It is unacceptable to mock a disabled child or anyone else, and it is appalling that the company felt it necessary to discharge us as patients.
