In person, and in general, I find the employees of the pharmacy to be very kind, helpful, thoughtful, and discreet with difficult and personal health questions. I do not feel like some number being pushed through a conveyer belt like many corporate businesses tend to treat others. The employees, which I've encountered, make me feel heard, seen, and address my concerns. When there are any issues obtaining medications or hiccups with insurance, their level of professionalism and personal care takes a potentially "negative" situation and turns it into a positive one. I never leave feeling confused on next steps, due to the staff making sure I understand what is going on or what I need to do to straighten out any bumps in the road. I really appreciate that they are compassionate, understanding, and helpful so that I don't ever have to leave feeling frustrated or feeling like I was talked down to. My only negative would be that the call-in system to the pharmacy is beyond frustrating. It takes a long time to get through. You get hung up on several times, after you've waited for extended periods of time, on hold, trying to get through. Many times when you call in, no one answers and asks you to hold, you're just automatically put on hold and once a period of time passes, while waiting on hold, it hangs up on you and you have to start the entire process again. It's not effective at all. By the time you finally reach a person, I've not always felt that same kindness that I experience in person. It's not necessarily always bad and I have had many interactions by phone that were positive. But I've also encountered that disconnected feeling, by phone, as well. Generally though, once you tell the person how hard it was to get through to them, they soften up and exercise patience and understanding. I'd give a 5 🌟 review if the call-in system wasn't so frustrating.

There have been a lot of problems ever since they brought in 3000 new customers when another pharmacy closed down The problem is the pain killers with all the new patients there isn't enough to go around But I'm very thankful for all the pharmacy staff going out of their way to help everyone with their needs They are very friendly and smart knowing the medication being prescribed to you. They are under an incredible amount of pressure to help everyone as the population in Elko and the surrounding areas is increasing.... tenfold....

Albertsons pharmacy is an absolute joke....I scheduled vaccines for my kids and I since it was more convenient than missing work for a Dr's appt and when I go to check in they informed me they canceled the appointment due to low staffing. I told them I just drove 30 minutes in for the appointment and he said well we can't change the information online and I asked 'But no one could call me to tell me that? You have my information right there' and he just said he just had to cancel the appointments. It's so frustrating and inconsiderate...
