  I’ve had ongoing issues with prescriptions being marked “ready” when they actually aren’t. I’ll receive a text saying a medication is ready for pickup, only to arrive and be told it’s not available. This recently happened on the 22nd, before the winter storm hit. I went when I was supposed to, based on the notification, but the medication was not ready as stated. Because of that delay, pickup was missed before the storm, and delivery should honestly be on the pharmacy—not the patient. Another frustration is having to repeatedly give the same information every time I speak with someone new. Even when everything has already been provided, it feels like the process starts over again. They also advertise delivery, but it’s not available on weekends, which makes situations like this even more difficult. Unfortunately, this is the only pharmacy that carries my daughter’s seizure medication, so reliability really matters. I’m not sure if this is a system issue or a communication problem, but it’s become very stressful. I truly hope these issues can be improved, because access to critical medications should not be this difficult.

  I have been calling all day, & no answer. They seem to have a habit of not filling our prescriptions until we get there to stand in line a long time, even though I wait 3 or 4 days to try to get them.

  The people are kind but something has to change with the way it operates because it is impossible to get through. I have tried calling. No one picks up and there is no voicemail option. I even tried calling the main market number and getting transferred over and the call dropped or timed out. They said "come into the store but there is a line of 20 people." Today someone finally took my phone number and I am waiting for a call back. A medication that I dropped off to be filled is out of stock there and they can't get it for a while. I am simply trying to call and have them reverse the insurance claim so I can get the medication at another pharmacy that has it in stock and have my insurance cover it. If Alberton's Pharmacy doesn't reverse the claim, I won't be able to access my medication which is time sensitive.
