  I had an amazing experience at Juliette Eye Institute! The entire team made the process smooth, comfortable, and exciting from start to finish. I’m especially pumped to have been the first patient in New Mexico to receive WaveLight Plus LASIK — it’s incredible to be part of something so advanced, and my vision has been unbelievable. As a safety for the UNM Lobos, vision is everything for my performance, and I’m grateful to trust a team that truly delivers at the highest level. It means a lot that they are the Preferred Eye Care Provider of the Lobos. I’m incredibly grateful to Dr. Melendez for his expertise and care, and a big thank you to Josh for all the support throughout the process. Couldn’t recommend Juliette Eye Institute enough — top-tier technology, top-tier experience, and even better results!

  I saw Dr. Melendez for blurriness particularly in my right eye at dusk and in buildings with multiple light sources. He rapidly diagnosed the issue and had me in front of a laser for treatment, and confidently told me I would see a big difference in the morning. WOW. Much clearer, no fuzziness! I never provide feedback but chose to do so for Dr. Melendez. I am self pay so my input can be taken as sincere. I am very grateful.

  I got LASIK surgery at the Julliette Eye Institute and could not be happier with the results! As a college student it's been challenging caring for my contact lenses and glasses but since getting the surgery my entire day has become easier. The entire team is absolutely incredible, so caring, knowledgeable and charismatic. Every appointment pre and post opp was a pleasure. After only a month of deciding to go through with the procedure I'm now seeing 15/20! The recovery process was easier than I could've ever imagined and the team has been there to support me the entire way through. Could not recommend the surgery and the institute enough.

  Went in for a yearly check up. The wait was practically nothing and the staff are phenomenal. Dr.M was his usual awesome self. I had just noticed some changes in my sight and he identified the problem and I left at 100%. The next morning, just as he promised all was right with my eyes. This is the best investment I’ve ever made! Never a day of buyers remorse. Dr. M and staff, thank you for making a major part of my life so much more enjoyable.

  This procedure, has been life-changing. I've worn contacts and glasses for 40 years. If anyone is on the fence about having this procedure done I can only say that it has been a great experience. I should have done it sooner. Thank you to doctor Melendez and his staff who were extremely nice and professional.
