  Wish I had looked at other reviews before coming here. Doctor was great but everything else was bad. Glasses are expensive and they did not explain the pricing, said scratch resistance was included then charged $140 for it

  I made and appointment and was asked to call and verbally confirm. Turns out they only wanted to discuss their "new" policy, requiring that you agree to purchase glasses prior to accepting the appointment. I have gone to the clinic in the past and loved working with Dr. Pacheo, but this in unacceptable. The policy is coercive at best and in my opinion scam. Only after the call did I look at the reviews and became disgusted. I guess they have expanded their policy to include weekdays also because my appointment was on Friday morning. Stay away!

  Will not file with your insurance unless you do the exam and also purchase frames and lenses from them. No thanks!

  My experience with Dr. Pacheco has always been positive. I value and have followed her advice over the years. It has not failed me. She takes her time, and explains every test so that I understand.

  RUN, DON’T WALK, away from this place unless you don’t care about money. This place is so expensive! Long story short. I ended up with an eye exam, average frames, and bifocal lens for over $1200. This is with insurance. Details. Went in for progressives and was up sold to the top lens’s with all the add ons. Had to return because I couldn’t see through lower portion of lens. They tried again still no luck. 3rd time back we decided to go away from the expensive progressive lens and still didn’t work. Last time I said please just put the lowest prescription possible( which I already told them several times). During this visit they wanted to charge me an additional $200 to change the lens again. After arguing with the girls for several minutes I finally got them to do it for no extra charge. In hindsight it was the wrong prescription and not the expensive progressive lens that was the issue. There was no refund offered or any further effort to make things right. I attached the invoice and where you see the charge for $1130 there is not even a description. This seems borderline criminal to me. It’s too late for me but I hope I help someone else from going through this. They made a lot of money off me. I hope they sleep well at night.
