Club Pilates Juan Tabo is a boutique Pilates studio specializing in reformer fusion classes for anyone, at any age or fitness level. Pure to Joseph Pilates’ original Reformer-based Contrology Method, but modernized with group practice and expanded state-of-the-art equipment, Club Pilates offers high-quality, life-changing training at a surprisingly affordable price.
The workouts were good, but the negative factors ultimately outweighed them.
Scheduling can be challenging due to the waiting lists. It can be frustrating to wait for a spot in a class, especially since you can’t plan anything else for that time or day, just in case you’re accepted. If you do get a spot and don’t show up, there is a charge.
Unfortunately, the staff experience was not positive either. The girl at the front desk is neither friendly nor welcoming, which detracts from the overall experience. Some instructors are not nice, which can be intimidating, especially if it's your first time doing Pilates and you're unfamiliar with the equipment. I felt self-conscious and dumb while trying to learn something new, and that negatively impacted my overall experience.
Maybe it’s just my personal perspective, but as a beginner, I had hoped for a more supportive environment. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my membership and take my business elsewhere.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!! Beware there is no easy way to cancel your membership once you have joined. You have to cancel in person or in writing (on a special form they have to email you-not just writing them an email requesting cancellation). Often times there is no front staff and they do not answer the phone or return messages. No directions/link on website to cancel. Sent email and left messages with intent to cancel, took an additional 2 months-of having membership fees deducted-to finally have membership cancelled. Shame on you Club Pilates. Cancellation of membership should not be a scam of getting additional membership fees out of people.
And if you do have a membership, it’s impossible to join a class as they all have waitlists, with only 12 slots per class.
If you what to take a class, just sign up and pay the single class cost. But do not get trapped in the scam of a membership at Club Pilates!!

I would advise against joining Club Pilates as it appears to be a scam aimed at taking advantage of people. I was a member for almost 9 months and experienced several issues. In addition to the monthly membership fee, they charged me twice $10 and once $15 for canceling my class. When my family came down with the flu (common cold) on the morning of my Pilates class, I called to inform them. They assured me it was no problem but later billed me anyway. When I called to dispute the charge, the person I spoke with was incredibly rude and demanded medical evidence for a refund.
A few months prior, I canceled a class 11 hours in advance and texted them to let them know my child was sick. However, they still charged me $10. It took me a week to get a refund after showing them documentation of my child's emergency visit. Looking back, I should have canceled my membership then and there.
As a full-time student and employee with a child and no other support, I found it disappointing that a women-owned business showed no sympathy. I recommend joining a yoga class instead, which provides exercise and mindfulness at a price without extra charges. Please be cautious as I feel that Club Pilates takes advantage of others and has no understanding that life happens

There are no package costs online and I find that super shady. you can see the price of one class after you sign up - $31. They list packages but when you click see more they just prompt you to sign up for “free beginner class” which is a 30 minute class on specific days. I found a random website that has these prices and they seemed affordable for pilates until I saw a review that says they have a $100 cancellation fee for memberships. Ew. Also shady. Stick with local, there’s a nice studio on Constitution.
