I have to give incredible praise to Dr. Amir and his entire team. I have not been to a dentist in at least 10 years, not for fear, pain, or dislike of going to a dentist, but because I've had bad teeth my entire life, and every previous experience with a dentist always felt like an unnecessarily long, drawn out process over countless visits with no end in sight, so I just gave up and stopped going all together. Things finally came to a head when 2 teeth broke within a week, causing lots of pain, and I had to face the reality that it was time to finally get everything fixed without wanting it to take all year.
My initial consult revealed what I had already knew from plain sight, feel and experience - the 2 teeth needed root canals, and 6 others needed caps, for a total of 8 caps. I'm no dentist, but I knew this was an extensive undertaking requiring high precision and patience to make and align 8 caps simultaneously, and that this amount of work would normally require 4 different rounds of visits. I discussed with Dr. Amir that I only had 1 week that I could take off and wanted to just tackle EVERYTHING at once so I wasn't taking countless days off all year. He assured me he could handle it, and we arranged a schedule that worked for us.
Every step of the experience was flawless. From the welcoming receptionist as soon as I stepped in, to the assistants, who were incredibly helpful in making sure I was comfortable the entire time, and Dr. Amir, who operated with the precision and finesse of a Rolex. Outside of the work itself, he took the time to explain the entire process, why he did things 1 way over another other that was easy to understand, and how it would benefit me in the long term. Dr. Amir was able to tackle everything in 3 days over the 1 week time frame as I had requested. He even had the lab on the phone as he was taking and sending the scans in real time to ensure they were happy with everything so they could go to work immediately.
It's been only 3 days since the work was completed, and even with my mouth open for 15+ hours and most all my molars having major work done on them, all the pain was gone after a single dose of Advil and I was eating steak that night, which is really a testament to how carefully they operated. As for the work itself, they absolutely nailed it out of the park. Everything fit, functions, feels, and looks absolutely perfect, and the entire experience was equally pleasant. I don't think I've ever had teeth as perfect as this, even as a kid, and I have everyone at Wayne Dental Arts to thank for that.
