However, If I pay the cost for a black membership monthly to be able to use all the spa amenities I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I am unable to use the tanning bed should I come an hour earlier than I did the day prior. I 100% understand not being able to use the tanning bed twice within the same day however, if I come the next day and it just so happens to be 1 hour prior to the time I came the day before and I’m unable to use what I pay for, to me that is ridiculous. When asked to speak to a manager to see if an exception could be made I was told to leave a Google review.. Disappointed.

Only reason I am leaving 1 star is because Planet Fitness requires members who are canceling their gym membership to either write and mail a formal letter to the gym stating that you want to cancel your gym membership OR you have to go down to the gym location in person and fill out a cancellation form. You can’t do it from the app or website, which is ridiculous. They do this on purpose to collect more revenue and make it harder for people to cancel memberships. For that reason I do not support their business and will never use planet fitness again. I will stick with my YMCA gym membership.
