Amramp gets 5 stars for their great customer service and wonderful staff! I called them less than a week before my husbands surgery and they made sure we had a ramp to use the day he came home from the hospital.

Highly professional services start to finish.
No one wants to have to install a ramp "as soon as possible." But if a loved one has a fall, a fracture and a surgery you may have to.
I filled out a contact form for Amramp and also did so for a couple of other accessibility companies. Amramp responded first but the other companies responded quickly but had lead times of 2-3 weeks and weren't set up to prioritize based on need. They were seemingly not capable of flexibility. There are always limits but Amramp did its best to accommodate our needs.
They quickly scheduled a visit to measure and estimate the cost of purchase or rental and by the end of the day they provided a computer aided design (CAD) drawing, contracts, choice of rental or purchase with partial credit if converting to purchase and payment options with full transparency. This all on a Friday.
They were able to schedule installation late Monday and while such rapid installation may have been partially luck, it seemed like the whole organization is designed to be responsive and accommodating.
The ramp is fully in our garage protected from the weather and is perfectly designed, installed and functioning. Our home health professionals were quite impressed and so are we.
We sincerely hope to never need their services again and we just as sincerely would not hesitate to recommend their services and they would be our first call if we ever do need accessibility services again.
Update: My wife is recovering nicely as we transition to out of home services, I'd like to thank the caring professional at Amramp again. Jamie, who returned our call and arranged our site visit and installation and followed up with friendly professional service that was also kind and caring. Aggy who helped expedite contracts and payment details so efficiently and professionally. Aggy helped get it done late on a Friday so installation could be quickly scheduled the following week. And Jeff who was our evaluation technician and who competently completed the required measurements and expedited the completion of Computer Assisted Design (CAD) drawings. Fred then led our installation which was as designed and of course the ramp performed flawlessly. It takes a team and this is one well oiled one. Thank you one and all and anyone else I may have forgotten!

This company was recommended by the therapists at the rehab facility that I was at.
They installed the outdoor chairlift the day I came home and it has been wonderful.
Thought we had a problem and Fred came within minutes to help. It was not the stairlift, it was my forgetting how to turn it on.
I love it!

Frequently Asked Questions About Amramp Accessibility of Southern New Jersey
What ramp type is the safest?
Steel wheelchair ramps won't rot like wood. They also have an open-pattern ramp surface that allows for moisture to pass through, which will prevent dangerous ice from forming that can happen on concrete or aluminum ramps.
Do you rent ramps?
About 45% of ramps should be rented when they aren't needed permanently. We allow you to easily rent ramps that are convenient for short term disabilities, recovery from surgery or for special events like graduation, weddings or reunions. No minimum time or amount of ramp required.
What ramp type is the most durable?
Steel and concrete ramps will both last for ages. They will not rot like wood. Aluminum has one-third the strength of steel and is three times softer.
What about moving or changing my wheelchair ramp after it is purchased?
If you move, you can take part or all of your steel wheelchair ramp with you. You can also add or shorten it as necessary.
Do wheelchair ramps have any resale value?
There is a market for steel wheelchair ramps when you no longer need them.
Are your ramps only for homes?
Amramp’s trained professionals provide FREE on-site evaluations, whether it’s a residence, church, school, or business.
Yes, Amramp also accommodates the construction and commercial industries offering ADA wheelchair ramps for purchase and rental.

How much does a wheelchair ramp cost?
Costs vary based on the size of the wheelchair ramp and the length of time the ramp is needed. Please contact us and your local Amramp expert will provide a free estimate.
Should I rent or should I buy a wheelchair ramp?
If you anticipate needing a ramp for more than 12 months, purchasing it is often more cost-effective than renting, as rental costs can exceed the purchase price. If you’re uncertain about the duration of your need, starting with a rental is a good option. Should you decide to purchase the ramp later, we will apply 75% of the rental fees toward the purchase price.
Rentals are ideal for:
- Individuals with short-term disabilities or recovering from surgery
- Special events such as graduations, weddings, concerts, or conferences
- Construction sites
