  I'm writing to highly recommend the Home Instead home care service in Voorhees, NJ. From the owner to the administrative staff to the assessment nurse to the live-in nurse (Mary) the service is exceptional and highly responsive. I had to have emergency knee surgery and needed in-home help quickly. I called the company on a Saturday night and an on-call staff person answered. An appointment was scheduled for the next day with the owner who came to my home to discuss the services offered. This was a no pressure meeting and I decided to hire Home Instead. A few days after that, I was notified that a live-in had been found. The registered nurse came to my home to do the medical assessment the day before my surgery. All of this happened within five days. Mary, the live-in certified nursing assistant (CNA), stayed with me for two weeks until I became more independent and mobile. She arrived at my home a few hours before I returned home from the surgery. In other words, she was on time. Mary was highly efficient, professional, resourceful, organized, tidy, polite and caring. Without asking she would do my laundry, light housekeeping and many other small household tasks. Most importantly, she took excellent care of me during my post-surgery recovery by preparing and bringing me my meals and provided great assistance with my hygiene and mobility needs. I always felt that to Mary my well being was her highest priority not just a job! While the service was not inexpensive, in urgent cases such as mine, this was well worth the money. Everyone involved with the company was a pleasure to work with during my health challenge. Without hesitation, I would refer Home Instead, Voorhees, NJ home care to anyone in need of their services.

  Vicky served as a full-time, live-in aide for my mother for two years until her passing at the age of 104. She did whatever was required to keep my mother safe, clean, comfortable, and as healthy as possible. Often this involved getting up in the middle of the night to assist my mother, accompanying her on medical appointments, and identifying and professionally handling new issues as they arose. In addition to fulling routine duties, Vicky quickly developed a rapport with my mother and always went the extra mile to keep her happy and engaged. We couldn't have asked for more. In addition to Vicky's experience, expertise, and reliability, she displayed another important quality. This is a passion for her work and sense of duty that is increasingly hard to find. Vicky's communication with the family was always open and current. Our family feels truly fortunate that Home Instead assigned Vicky to care for our mother. We know that future clients of Home Instead will appreciate the excellent care that Vicky provides.

  I had the opportunity to use Home Instead to provide care for my mother, and I have only very good things to say about the experience. The team at Home Instead was caring and helpful, and the aides that they provided were generally excellent. Recommend highly!
