  Vicky served as a full-time, live-in aide for my mother for two years until her passing at the age of 104. She did whatever was required to keep my mother safe, clean, comfortable, and as healthy as possible. Often this involved getting up in the middle of the night to assist my mother, accompanying her on medical appointments, and identifying and professionally handling new issues as they arose. In addition to fulling routine duties, Vicky quickly developed a rapport with my mother and always went the extra mile to keep her happy and engaged. We couldn't have asked for more. In addition to Vicky's experience, expertise, and reliability, she displayed another important quality. This is a passion for her work and sense of duty that is increasingly hard to find. Vicky's communication with the family was always open and current. Our family feels truly fortunate that Home Instead assigned Vicky to care for our mother. We know that future clients of Home Instead will appreciate the excellent care that Vicky provides.

  I had the opportunity to use Home Instead to provide care for my mother, and I have only very good things to say about the experience. The team at Home Instead was caring and helpful, and the aides that they provided were generally excellent. Recommend highly!

  I highly recommend using Home Instead for home care & health aid services. Home Instead was extremely reliable, professional, & provided excellent care & services. Home Instead was extremely accommodating from the my very first phone call. They accommodated me with a next day weekend initial intake visit at my mother’s house. For a few months, Home Instead provided in-house companion care 8 hours a day, Monday - Friday when my mother started to need an extra hand around the house, reminders to take medications, and meal preparation. In the middle of August, my mother became more ill. She ended up having 3 falls in 48 hours with 2 ER visits. Home Instead gave me same day overnight care coverage. They came to my rescue and were a huge help. Home Instead provided about 3 months of 24/7 care around the clock for my mother in her home. All of the caregivers were very professional and had my mother’s health and safety as a number one priority. I would not hesitate to use Home Instead for home care services if needed in the future. I am very grateful for the Home Instead team.

  Home Instead cared for my mom for about 18 months and provided wonderful companionship and personal care. Every caregiver was kind and dependable, and they truly made a difference in her life. Fara, in particular, went above and beyond with compassion and genuine warmth. I’m so grateful for the support and comfort they gave my mom — and our whole family — especially toward the end of her life.

  Two and a half years ago my family decided we needed some help in caring for our 95 year old father. After careful research, we hired Home Instead. From day one the help was incredible. The women (and man) who helped care for my dad were caring professional aides. They soon bonded with Dad and made sure he was comfortable, clean, fed and hydrated. They kept us informed of any changes in his routines, health or well being. They did laundry, kept the house tidy and even filled the bird feeders! We felt at ease knowing Dad was well cared for when we couldn’t be there. A special shout out to Christiana! She and Dad shared a special bond. When he was resisting a bath or food or drink, she would always succeed through her soft, caring, gentle persuasion. Christiana is the type of caregiver you will find working for Home Instead!
