I have been a die-hard LensCrafters customer for years due to a few great employees, their customer service and selection but I wasn’t happy with their selection the last time I was in their store in Toms River. So on a whim, I remembered Pearle was across the street. I stopped in and much to my surprise I saw Bill my favorite (LensCrafters employee) now working in Pearle in Toms River. (The entire staff was lovely, also ). Within minutes he helped me find the perfect set of glasses for my face. I even bought 2 pairs. (Bill knows I’m a big pain the ass when it comes to finding glasses.) He is the BEST OF THE BEST! He knows how to find the right shape, size, color etc. for his customers. Now, I won’t go anywhere else as long as Bill is in your store!

I went in today for an annual exam and after the pre testing, when asked if I was having any concerns, I mentioned that I had a stye and wanted the doctor to look at it. Because of that, the tech told me that we couldn’t continue with my annual (which would be 100% covered by my insurance) and it would need to be a regular visit with a $80 copay. I informed them that in the past, I had these concerns and it was never an issue but they didn’t care. They just wanted to fatten their wallets instead of caring for their patient.

She looked me up. I gave her my prescription that I needed showed her the glasses that I wanted she priced it out and says we could accommodate ,and then she got up and for 20 minutes she helped other people why I sat there With no interest to move forward for a $400 pair of sunglasses. I bought prescription glasses three different times there had my eye exams twice there and bought a custom pair of sunglasses for $350 for drivingI decided to take my business elsewhere.
