  My wife and I went to this dentist for several years. Initially, we were happy with them, but over the course of a 2 year period things deterioriated. Over multiple cleanings, I felt like I was in a used car sales lot rather than at a dentist. Multiple times, I received high pressure sales tactics insisting that I purchase an expensive $300 Oral-B electric toothbrush, which they had signs for in the office. I don't know if they were getting some sort of kick back if they sold them, but I mean the sales pressure/tactics was ridiculous. I said no multiple times yet the hygenists kept continually bringing it up all the way to the end of my visits. What was the last nail in the coffin was our last cleanings. I was told I had 4 cavities in my mouth. I had no symptoms. I have never had more than 2 at any point in my life and when I have had them, that dentist physically went in and checked to confirm the cavity themselves to what was seen on the x-ray. The dentist did not confirm the cavities herself in my mouth and when I questioned it and to show me all these suppose cavities on the xrays, the spots she pointed to were no different than the other areas of the tooth. I subsequently went to another dentist who confirmed I had only 1 cavity. My wife was told she had 5 cavities and needed a root canal. No physical confirmation of any of that by the dentist in her mouth either. The subsequent dentist confirmed she only had 2 cavities and no root canal was needed. This place, like the pediatric dentistry here, seems to create problems that don't exist to hose people out of additional money causing them to have unnecessary dental work. I have seen multiple other reviews on here and Yelp indicating the same systemic problem. If you don't want to be hosed out of money and have unnecssary dental work, avoid this place!

  Maggie & Dr Hyson were fantastic! Had three fillings done and total experience was quick and pleasant.

  Overall, I had a great experience at Roxbury Family Dental. The staff was friendly, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The care I received was excellent. The only downside was being moved between different operatories during my appointment, which felt a bit disorganized and slightly disrupted the flow of the visit. That said, I’d still recommend them for their quality of care and welcoming environment.

  I’m a patient from Dr. Silvestre and I’m happy with all my appointments. They are typically on time, quick, help with all the hiccups from the insurances. Only positive things about this dentist office.

  I cracked my front tooth at 10am--I called Roxbury Family Dentistry as soon as it happened--they gave me a 3pm appointment that day and I walked out with a temporary crown--what a relief! Thank you!
