This visit, however, was very different. The team members who welcomed me and handled checkout were excellent — kind, professional, and efficient. Unfortunately, my experience with the doctor was disappointing. I had a workday appointment and waited more than 30 minutes past my scheduled time. During that wait, the doctor stood near the front desk chatting with staff about travel and other personal topics for roughly 10 minutes. I sat 5 feet from this extended convo for too long so I ultimately had to remind the receptionist that I was still waiting and that I had a meeting scheduled afterward. As a result, I was late for my meeting even though I gave myself more than hour to be at the eye doctor. I understand that delays can happen, but it’s frustrating to feel that your time is not being respected — especially during the workday. I am a business owner- I would NEVER chit chat in front of clients when they have been waiting 30 minutes!! Based on this experience, I won’t be returning.
