  I live in MD but went up to check on our place in OC due to the October ‘25 storm situation. Forgot to bring contacts and only had my Rx glasses. Not the type to wear my glasses all the time and the rain drops were starting to get a little annoying so I set out to find a place to get some contacts. Went to this Horizon place in OC. The lady at the desk there said “they deal with this all summer” and to “try calling wal mart.” Found this place and called, the doc and his staff were nothing but happy to help. I had some contacts within a few minutes of walking in the store. Such a night and day customer service experience. The vibe in Point optical is also so much brighter and welcoming. Didn’t have an exam, didn’t buy frames, but based on the interaction with the actual caring humans that work in and run Point Optical this is your best bet for eye care in south Jersey. Thanks again!

  This company saved our vacation. My husband lost his prescription glasses in the ocean, and they were able to squeeze him in the same day. He left with contacts and an updated prescription for both contacts and glasses. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great experience all around!

  Took my insurance information but didn’t apply it. Had to put out over $500. Kept telling me that I didn’t give my insurance info. What’s the 1st thing you do when you go to a Medical Professional give your Insurance Cards.

  Was up visiting family in NJ for 9 days from Florida for Christmas vacation, and completely forgot to bring any of my daily disposable contacts with me outside of what were in my eyes! I called and spoke to Susan at Point Optical and she worked out for me to purchase 9 pairs of their sample daily contacts for only $10- she even hand delivered them to me in my car! She was kind and caring about my predicament, immediately intent on helping me out, amazing customer service! They didn’t have to help me, as I’d likely never return for future business (being from Florida), but they did and were extremely helpful and friendly!! Thank you for rescuing me from what could’ve been a nightmare problem!! I Highly recommend this place!!

  If i had to rate on the overall experience from 1 to 10 I'd give this place a 200+ . Phenomenal service, and care, the staff are very heart warming, especially Sharon (im sorry if i misspelled your name ) You made picking frames so delightful and what i love is that you give your honest opinion on each frames and within minutes we found the right one for me. So if anyone wants to avoid all the boring wait and want to experience a doctor you can trust . Please come to Point Optical in Somers Point.
