  I really enjoy Club Pilates Rutherford - the environment is so welcoming and comfortable that it makes it easy to feel at home, especially as a beginner. In particular, Emily is an amazing instructor and a big part of why I look forward to coming each week. She is incredibly beginner-friendly and makes everyone feel comfortable, while still challenging you in all the right ways. Her cues are clear and thoughtful, and she really helps you focus on proper form. I’ve noticed real improvements in my strength and confidence, and her classes are truly a highlight of my week! And, you can always count on her for a 10/10 playlist. Highly recommend both the studio and Emily to anyone thinking about trying Pilates!

  My experience changed completely when I tried to cancel my membership. I called to cancel and was told I needed exactly 30 days notice, but my card had already been charged 4 days earlier because they changed the billing cycle. Because of that charge, management told me the cancellation wouldn’t count yet and that I still have to pay for two more months. The classes may be good, but the way memberships and cancellations are handled was very disappointing. I recommend reading the cancellation and billing policies very carefully before signing up. I really wish I had known this before joining.

  I’d heard Pilates is addictive and it’s true! I’m exercising more than ever thanks to Club Pilates. The instructors make group classes feel private. They pay attention to your reformer settings, making sure they are ideal for you. They notice when resistance needs to grow as you strengthen, especially Rafael, who is an absolute angel.

  I’ve been a member of Club Pilates for over 2 years now and I love it more and more each day. Rafael has been an amazing instructor especially during the 6am classes. He is the perfect amount of energy and humor needed to be motivated to go to class and push through. Each time I leave feeling challenged, stronger, and full of energy- ready to take on the day! He also ran my birthday party at the studio and my friends couldn’t stop raving about him. He ensures everyone is comfortable and makes modifications as needed which was perfect especially for those who haven’t taken a class before. I couldn’t recommend his classes more! I specifically love the Friday Center and Balance classes. It’s a perfect way to stretch and close out the busy week.

  Love Rafael and his amazing energy! It's not easy to motivate a group at 6 AM but somehow he does it effortlessly and makes his classes something to look forward to. His energy is incredible, especially that early, and the workouts are consistently challenging. He always takes the time to correct form and make adjustments, which makes a huge difference. Rafael keeps the class fun and light with just the right amount of humor. Exactly what you want in an instructor!
