- MMMaureen McErleanJan 2, 20261.0I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but after I searched 20 mins for parking, fed the meter, walked in the store, waited a few minutes and was told the 1 (one) and only optometrist was on break for another 30 minutes. Ughhh I tried to avoid this by booking an appt online, they don’t do that for adjustments. I’ve been a customer for 10+ years and this ain’t it. Problem was theirs, whack frame coloring and another pair was unbalanced, and not aligned with my eyeballs. Frustrating.

I intended to walk in and buy frames for my lenses. Unfortunately, I was informed by the manager that the frames were not in stock, not available for purchase, and that it wasn’t possible to see if another store had them in stock without driving to another location to check. This was disappointing to say the least. However, team member Olivera was relentless in her pursuit to help me. She looked for frames my lenses could possibly fit, sunglasses that could temporarily serve as glasses, and ultimately, after exhausting all options, respectfully requested that I be allowed to purchase the store model. Olivera went above and beyond for me and she really didn’t have to. Her efforts are so appreciated—so much so that I purchased 3 pairs of glasses when I only intended to buy one. These are exactly the types of customer retail experiences that build brand loyalty. If you’re looking for stylish/affordable glasses in Ridgewood, I highly recommend this store and specifically Olivera. You won’t regret it.
