  I just had cataract surgery and am very pleased with the outcome. When I first went there my one eye was very bad that driving at night was a chore. I had surgery and was amazed at the difference, I could see everything after a few days and it continues to get better. I had the other eye done and I am very happy with the outcome. Dr Hirshfeld was great to talk to and told me like it was, no sugar coating, which made me decide to do it. I'm 82 yrs old and should have had it done years ago. Dr Hirshfeld was the only one to spell it out how bad it was and it should be done. The staff are all great people and it was a pleasure going there, they were always helpful and very courteous. I would recommend them with the highest of praise.

  Dr Hirschfeld did a great job on my cataracts from soup to nuts. This was the easiest experience. I couldn't have asked for more. Everyone in the office has been wonderful. Not one moment did I feel rushed. Here everyone gets personal attention. Now I can see great for driving. Before I was scared and struggling driving at night. And I can read also without needing any glasses. Dr Hirschfeld was wonderful. I feel so comfortable with him. Overall the entire experience, including the office staff and the surgery center, was an excellent experience.

  Great experience from start to finish. Dr Hirschfeld is excellent and doctor the friendly staff makes the whole process easy.

  Horrible office. “Dr.” Hirschefeld is not a good doctor. He rushes his patients yet makes you spend five hours in his office. The girl that works the front desk is totally rude and nasty and not helpful at all. Major attitude problem, and must just absolutely hate her life. Then the office manager is a lazy incompetent who doesn’t even work in the office. She works from home. This guy clearly only cares about billing and squeezing in as many patients as he can while making them wait hours on end. I won’t go back to an office like that where I have to spend five hours waiting for this jerk Just to check in with some of the rudest people that work in medical.

  Lakeland Opthalmology is the best! Dr. Hirschfield & his staff are caring, attentive and they have the best equipment to carefully examine your eyesight. I’ve been with them for a while, and also have the best experience in laser cataract surgery very recently! Thank you Dr. Hirschfield!
