  I had a great experience with the SMILE procedure at MLC – Paramus. It’s been three weeks, and I’m really happy with the results. A few things that stood out to me: 1. The eye exam was extremely thorough. They repeated the measurements multiple times to ensure accuracy and consistency. 2. The consultation and procedure can be scheduled on the same day, which was very convenient. As long as everything looks good, you can move forward right away. 3. The doctor (Mark B.) was honest, clear, and very calm in explaining everything, which made me feel at ease. 4. The clinic staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable. They were even flexible in accommodating my spouse during the procedure, which I really appreciated. 5. The procedure itself was quick and essentially painless—honestly less uncomfortable than an ant bite. I only had mild soreness for a day or two afterward. Overall, I’m so glad I did it. I now have 20/20 vision, and it was absolutely worth it!

  I had the smile lasik surgery. The staff and the surgeon are very accommodating. They offered me surgery on a Saturday, so I wouldn't have to take days off from work. I recommend resting your eyes as much as you can on the day of the procedure to help with the healing process. The day after the surgery, on Sunday, I was able to see well. Ten to fourteen days after the surgery, my eyesight became even clearer and better. I recommend it!

  I had my SMILE procedure done on 8/27 and I intentionally waited around to write an honest and accurate review. First of all, both doctors and staff were very friendly on both visits (on the day of procedure and follow up appointment two weeks after). I had a little bit of a panic attack after the procedure because my near vision was very blurry, and I could not see anything clearly within 2-3 feet. However, the doctor called to respond to my messages right away and assured me it would get better. My near vision has improved over time although it is not as good as I had hoped for due to my presbyopia and I need to use my reading glasses time to time, but my far vision has been great since the day after my procedure. So was it worth the price? I would say yes. It was an expensive procedure, but it is so liberating to be able to do things w/o my glasses or contact lenses!
