Adeva was awesome and professional throughout my visit. The only issue I experienced was with the process to charge my Care Credit account, which did not function properly and slowed things down a bit. I also learned that the Military Veteran discount is available only online. This seems unnecessary and it would be much more helpful for customers if this discount were offered in the store as well. Why is it limited to online purchases?

Upon my arrival, the staff promptly scheduled an appointment for me on the same day. The team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and competence in their roles. I highly recommend this establishment.

Very disappointed with my experience at LensCrafters in Paramus on Route 4. They managed to mess up my glasses twice, which is completely unacceptable for a store that specializes in eyewear. The first pair was incorrect, and after bringing them back and waiting again, the second pair was still wrong. Each visit meant wasted time, repeated explanations, and absolutely no accountability. On top of that, the customer service was very bad — staff were unhelpful, dismissive, and showed no urgency in fixing their mistakes. What makes this even worse is their very high prices. When you’re charging premium prices, the expectation is accuracy, professionalism, and good service. Unfortunately, this location failed on all three. If you care about your time, money, and getting your glasses done correctly, I would strongly suggest going elsewhere.

My wife and I went to this location because we had a few questions about a warranty that we have, and we believed that it would be easier for us to go to a location rather than discuss over the phone. We arrived and there was one lady who arrived right before us. An employee immediately engaged the woman and began assisting her. There were at least three other employees who were out on the floor and within eyesight, but they refused to even approach us. We stayed for almost 15 minutes, until it became obvious that no one was willing to assist us. When we finally grew impatient and walked out, one of the employees stepped out as it to offer help. The customer service was nonexistent and horrible. I would say go ahead and patronize them if you don't mind them treating certain classes of people as second-class customers. I would give ZERO STARS IF I COULD.

At first, I was hesitant with filling the prescription for new lenses at Lens Crafters, but the final product was impressive and better than the Costco brand optics. Higher quality lenses are worth it, in particularly - the store manager: Peter was an expert in offering choices.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
