- SSspacemandc17Nov 2, 20211.0The staff of the pharmacy at the Stop & Shop on Perrrineville Rd in Monroe, NJ, is probably the RUDEST of any pharmacy's staff that I have ever encountered - bar none! When I have called to speak with a pharmacist concerning getting a prescription filled, whomever I have spoken with has always been very curt and condescending in their tone towards me and always telling me that I'm either not following proper procedure in requesting the medication or that it's out of stock and that I have to wait for it to the point where they have actually hung up on me! Whenever I have called ANY other pharmacy, I've never been spoken to in such a rude and impolite manner and have always had my prescription filled. Never ever have they hung up on me! On Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2021, I went in to request a pneumonia vaccination which is highly recommended for someone in my age group - I am 72. The young dark-haired pharmacist on duty rudely refused to give it to me because I did not know exactly what kind pneumonia vaccine I had gotten the last time I received one - that information had not been disclosed to me. I went directly to a Walgreens pharmacy just a few blocks away (on Applegarth Rd) and was given the vaccine immediately with no problem. The Stop & Shop management really needs to flush out the rude and condescending people in its pharmacy staff - or give them a lesson in providing good courteous customer service to its patrons in order to compete successfully with the other businesses in the area.
