From the medical assistants to the doctor to Ken who help place my order for the glasses, my daughter and I received EXCELLENT service all around. A much better experience compared to the East Hanover location where they DO NOT VALUE their customers. If you are looking for a great overall experience when shopping for a pair of glasses come to the Livingston Mall location. Heads up: when the Livingston Mall officially closes in May, this location will relocate the the Mall at Short Hills. Same team (hopefully!)

Due to my vision coverage, I am limited to using only Lens Crafters. I have been to a few LCs in Bergen County but this location has by far the most courteous and helpful staff. When i enter the store, I am consistently greeted and acknowledged -- this is a monumental difference compared to the Garden State Plaza locations. I purposely drive past other, closer, Lens Crafters locations because I want the customer service that is available at this location. The staff is friendly and respectful, led by Kenneth Testa. I am so glad that I met him and was able to go thru the process of buying glasses/frames/lens (coatings) with him (a task i have done for 30 years, but he treated me and the process as a very important decision). He is highly knowledgeable with the glasses making process, the lab/the shop, and treats everyone with respect, and understands that what I am buying is essential to my life; I wear glasses all day every day and I need them to be fully functioning -- he understood this requirement as a baseline not a benefit. He is a wonderful person and employee and he provides a courteous service that is hard to find these days. I will definitely be going back to this location (until they move to Short Hills ~in May 26) and looking forward to working with Kenneth again.

Today (March 15) I visited LensCrafters at Livingston Mall in Livingston, NJ to exchange my glasses, and I had a wonderful experience.
The young man and the lady who helped me were both extremely kind, patient, and very professional. They took their time to assist me and made sure everything was just right. Their kindness and excellent customer service truly made my day.
Thank you both for your professionalism and for making my visit such a pleasant experience!

I had a wonderful experience at LensCrafters on Rt 10 in Livingston today. I visited the store and needed to replace my prescription sunglasses. Throughout the whole process, Kerri Garcia helped me. she was patient and kind and answered all my questions professionally and with expertise. I had discomfort with my pair of glasses and Kerri heard me and looked for ways to make all my concerns addressed. It felt right. It felt that Kerri was on my side in terms of health and also in terms of satisfaction with a new pair of glasses all around. I will definitely continue my relationships with LensCrafters. They always deliver. Thank you, LensCrafters for having such great employees who understand the value of great customer service. Miki
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
