  There are not enough words to describe the absolute nonchalant, negligent behavior of this doctor. I will preface by saying that I was not an easy case, I came in with a complicated problem. This doctor became laser focused on what he believed my problem was. He ordered a massive amount of tests including bloodwork, MRIs and CAT scans. I saw two specialists and had outpatient procedures done as well. In the end what he believed was the problem ended up not to be the problem. That is when this doctor completely lost interest in my case. He has complete tunnel vision and a God complex. Once his theory is disproved, he is no longer interested in trying to figure out what is wrong with you. Compound that with an extremely rude office manager and the notion that this doctor believes that a patient should wait a week in severe pain before being treated with a common antibiotic is a recipe for disaster. I was told by this doctors office that I was not allowed to call in for my results nor was I allowed to contact the lab to expedite those results despite suffering for a week. Clearly this doctor does not want to do his job or ask his staff to do it for him. With one phone call to the lab I was able to get my reports in less than 20 minutes. The doctors office could’ve very easily done their job yet they continued to allow their patient to suffer, and then proceeded to scold me for having the audacity to be proactive in my care. I have reported him to the hospital that he has privileges at and I would just warn others that this doctor does not care in the least that you are suffering. Unless he can readily and easily diagnose you and fix the issue he is just not interested. My cat has received better, effective, timely and more efficient treatment from my veterinarian. I would expect an urgent care clinic to not have all the answers, but this is an infectious disease doctor who should know more and do more research to help his patient. He definitely billed my insurance company for far more work than he ever did, but that is an entirely different situation in it of itself. I have never been treated with and encountered such lack of professionalism and empathy by both the Dr and his office manager.

  He is a great doctor. Concerned about his patients well being. He has helped so many friends and family. I thank him for helping me and being understanding.

  Dr Papa treated my father for sepsis two years ago. While in the hospital, things were great. Very communicative. Then dr referred my dad to a rehab/nursing home. Saw less of the dr even though he was affiliated there. No communication anymore. My dad was treated so poorly there and eventually died at the hands of that nursing home as I was trying to get him transferred somewhere else. I am forever appalled by the dr's recommendation to that place and have heard through the years that it has always been a horrible place and still is. For that, I could never forgive dr papa. I guess he gets a payout for patients that he recommends to that horrible establishment.
