  I can't say enough good things about Home Instead in Lakewood, NJ. They took exceptional care of my mother, providing her with kindness, compassion, and professional support every step of the way. The caregivers were not only skilled but also truly caring individuals who treated my mother with the dignity and respect she deserved. The staff was always responsive, making sure our concerns were addressed promptly and ensuring my mother was comfortable and well cared for. Knowing that she was in good hands gave our family much-needed peace of mind. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate home care for their loved ones.   Home Instead takes great care of my grandparents who are starting to struggle with day to day tasks as well as starting to forget simple things like the taking their medicine, the stove, locking doors, etc. The staff that comes to their house on a day to day basis makes sure all that stuff is taking care of. This makes it a lot less stressful for my family and I. I highly recommend them!

  Some people feel guilty about not providing home care themselves for their elderly parents. DON'T. Since the first day I spoke with Barbara Ann at Home Instead I realized I was doing the right thing by engaging this service. My father now has two different caregivers assisting him and it has changed his life and mine. My mother who is also at home sees the caregivers as friends coming to visit. She loves them all. Thank you Home Instead.

  This company was very dissatisfying for us, they coudn't staff people for my my 94 year old mom all the time, and when one of their Care Givers call out, they will not, or can not replace them, many times i was left to care for my mom by myself. They will tell you they can cover overnight shifts, but they can't, they are very understaffed, if you want to use them go ahead, but I would not recommend them

  I just received an extremely aggressive sales phone call from a Rosemary from Home Instead. She misunderstood my online request for more information about the company . My mistake I'm assuming .I'll never call them again and if the number comes up again ,I'll have no choice but to escalate this to a supervisor . For some reason this Rosemary was the rudest person I've ever spoken to in my life ! She thought I was trying to work for her . no .I'm not . I'm interested in hiring someone to care for my mother while I go to work but not for them . I'm not having any luck finding decent CHHA in this area where the elderly population is huge. Home health care is not really government supervised. This is scary .The last company we used sent a different girl every time . There last girl I had in here stole from us. They don't do background checks . I don't know anything about the reputation of this company but I highly recommend that people stay clear of this Rosemary . She is the epitome of rude .
