We have been taking my daughter to Haven for a few months now. There are no words on how I can express how wonderful they are. Always so attentive. Every person in that office is very compassionate. From the owner of the business, the therapists are skilled, they have respectful care tactics. Excellent communication from the office manager and front office staff. There was a great difference when my daughter went there, as she is shy and was unsure about actually going to therapy, but the patient focus on needs and what was going on and how it was taken about, was outstanding.

I had a scheduled first appointment at Have Behavioral I Health for trauma therapy. About 15 minutes into the intake, while explaining why I was seeking therapy, I use the word “fuck.”
The therapist asked me not to use that word. I explain this is how I speak when I’m upset and that I don’t censor my language when discussing trauma.
She then said we are not a good fit and asked me to leave, ending the appointment.
I’m sharing this to others are aware of how language preferences and fit may be handled during initial trauma intake.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I don’t think it’s fair for people to give 1 star reviews because they miss their appointments or for THEIR own Personal reasons or lack of responsibility. I think the receptionists are very nice, understanding and accommodating. 🤷🏻♀️ I love my guy Mike who is down to earth and understanding also. I know how hard it is to find a therapist that someone’s comfortable with so I would hope that people actually read the reviews and realize it’s not a review about the actual facility because it’s a shame if these reviews would scare people away from a place that actually is really good

I struggled finding somewhere that felt comfortable to talk freely for awhile. I tried virtual sessions, it wasn't for me. I went to offices where the receptionist would miss schedule me constantly. At Haven I have none of these issues. They matched me up with the right therapist for me and I am able to schedule sessions for months out, which is super comforting.
They do require you cancel two days in advance, so keep that in mind. But if you need to cancel, they will put you immediately on the wait list and always call if you want an extra appointment when someone else cancels. I have found so much peace here.
