Horrible. Waited a hour and a half just to get my eyes checked. Was told I didn’t pay the 50 dollar deposit to secure my appointment which I didn’t even get an email about until 2 am the morning of the appointment that needed to be done. So then I get there and they’ll like we can squeeze u in which basically means they half ass ur exam do portions of it and make u wait 30 minutes in between. While I was trying to finish my medical records they were like “if we are going to squeeze u in u need to fill it out faster” essentially what was said don’t even know what I was putting down for my medical information. Was going to get checked for contacts but was so rushed felt like I couldn’t even do that. Also while waiting in between the different parts of the exam kids came in and were playing with the machines. Save ur time and money and go to a real optometrist not this bootleg one. Also they were so passive aggressive as I was waiting in between appointments they mentioned probably 4-5 times how it’s basically my fault and should’ve finished the information beforehand despite being 15 minutes early to the exam and maybe they shouldn’t send the form to fill out to secure ur spot at 2 am in the morning the appointment. So unprofessional don’t even think they looked at my eyes… been to other LensCrafters just DONT go to this one it’s so bad. Oh also almost forgot was sitting there waiting for my turns to go in and the person heard another person arrive she ran out invited him into the office and was like and he was like omg so quick to be seen! And she was like “of course wouldn’t want YOU to wait” like yeah lol don’t come here they’re awful. And then she saw him and then he was in and out in 10 minutes while I waited 40. Literally went downstairs to other LensCrafters as a walk-in despite them being very busy. They got me in and out in 30 minutes.

Ms. Tate Sky is such a gem. She was extremely articulate and knowledgeable on the glasses I asked about, no matter the brand. She explained everything in great detail. I’ll definitely be back and will recommend this specific store inside of macys to everyone.
Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters at Macy's
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
