  It was my first class booked with this studio. I was late for 10 mins and was not allowed to go to the class. I understand the policy and ask if I can just be marked as attended so I don’t need to pay for the missing class penalty (using ClassPass). The receptionist agreed. I also asked if it’s possible to get a makeup of this class, and receptionist said that she will check with the owner and I will receive an email update. I didn’t receive any email update and I got missing class penalty from ClassPass a few days later. The one star is for the bad customer service.

  DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT WITH CLUB PILATES!! I had a terrible time getting out of the contract, even after I did everything that was required. They turned the $25 I owed into $250, and sicked a collection agency on me. After I threatened to get a lawyer involved, the amount I owed mysteriously changed to $0. I never owed them any money (after I paid for a month I didn't use), and I think the gangster like tactics they used to collect the money they said I owed was terrible. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

  This is my own personal experience with some of the instructors who seem to be annoyed that you are asking for help. I had a cardio class with Jocelyn today at the Hoboken location - I was not the only one late but upon arriving I had issues with the reformer, at first I thought it was me but it turns out the reformer was out of wack. So I moved to another one. While I am not asking to interrupt a class, a little help would be appreciated. I was obviously struggling and she passed by me twice without bothering to help. I decided to leave and told the receptionist who did apologize for the instructors behavior. Given that I have been to all four locations it seems like the only instructors who genuinely care and want to teach you are Agatha and leeza. Oh also, the bathrooms never work, (in JC or Hoboken), lol. Overall for a pretty steep membership it would be nice if some of the instructors were a little more inviting and actually looked like they wanted to be there.
