This is my go-to urgent care. Very convent and have always been able to get an appointment quickly. Staff is professional. I like being able to complete check in without touching their device. Doctor does complete the exam and listens to you.

The wait is always short here but I am very unhappy with my experience today. I do not want to make one bad visit overshadow the rest I used to like this place a lot. I have been sick for 5 days sore throat vommiting, lost my voice, coughing.reported slight fever and low grade in the office. Negative for covid flu and strep and "Sam" checks my throat so quick I almost thought it was a joke. She then proceeds to tell me there is nothing she can do and to drink hot tea because it is viral. Mind you, I have taken honey shots, gargled salt water, and taken Tylenol cold symptoms all week long and am only feeling worse by each day. I took the time to go here TO GET TREATED. My voice sounds terrible and I need to be able to speak for work. I then asked her if there is anything she could give me she says no we don't do that. Hate chatgpt but why is the internet saying they can prescribe medication for laryngitis and this lady is telling me that is not something that is done??? If I wanted to pay a copay to just vent to someone about how I am feeling I would have went to therapy. Any doctor should attempt something. "Nothing they can do" is crazy you should be able to care about patients if you are in the medical field. Sam seemed like she just wanted to get her shift done !

I had a very frustrating experience at AFC Urgent Care yesterday. I came in feeling sick with multiple symptoms and was told that if I provided my insurance ID number, I would be able to be seen. I gave them the information they asked for and then waited almost two hours.
After waiting all that time, I was suddenly told that because I didn’t have a physical copy of my insurance card, they could not see me. This was extremely disappointing and felt very unprofessional, especially since they had already told me the ID number would be enough.
I ended up going to Atlantic Health Urgent Care instead, and the experience was completely different. They had no problem verifying my insurance, confirmed that it was active, and saw me right away without any issues.
The difference in professionalism and efficiency between the two clinics was very noticeable. Unfortunately, my experience at AFC Urgent Care felt like a waste of time while I was already not feeling well.
