  I am thoroughly unimpressed with the staff and lack of communication at this location. I am riddled with anxiety and fully regret paying almost $400 for this. DON'T LET THIS BE YOU! Michael, the face of the Medi-Weightloss of Green Brook, is money hungry and showed a complete lack of empathy when I expressed having heart palpitations and trembles from low blood sugar after being on the diet for a couple of days. As any sales person would do, he said "just stick it out!" When I went in for my initial session, I probably spoke two words to Michael. All he did was say hi and charge me in the end. I made the mistake of getting fooled by their psychological marketing and told my younger sister she should join. Michael, [DID NOT] tell her the money she would put down for an appointment was non-refundable-- like he told me, he just mentioned she had to put $100 down for an appointment and it would be counted towards her first session. She had to cancel because two of our family members became ill and we had to take care of them. After she cancelled, (3 days in advance,) he didn't issue a refund. We called and asked for it back because we cancelled within 24 hours due to circumstances out of our control and Michael answered sarcastically and arrogant. He said that it was non-refundable, which was news to us, and after going back and forth and said, fine! You'll get a refund. This goes to show how money hungry he is. I'm disgusted and want my money back. Don't fall victim of their trap. Do what I did in a clear mindset--join a gym and be accountable for what your putting into your body and you will see results. Don't let them fool you!
