One thing that upset me was the examiner was wearing a mask with a breathing valve, which I didn't notice until the exam was underway and made me very uncomfortable. Perhaps she was not aware, but those valves do not prevent spread because they only filter inhalations not exhalations. For all intents and purposes as far as protecting me was concerned, she might as well have had no mask, yet she was inches from my face. Had I noticed earlier I may not have stayed. The glasses, bifocals, were very expensive (I did not buy them) I don't have vision insurance. I chose a $129 frame, one of the least expensive, plain. The man said he was giving me a 30% discount. I said "no" to every extra offered me. Yet the total was still $495! I said forget it, came home and got much cuter ones, with every extra including transition lenses, for $103 online. I tried to leave a review on their Facebook page, only to discover they have turned off reviews! That speaks volumes IMO and tells me they were getting some pretty bad reviews.
