Booked a pcr covid test for international travel. Got two confirmation emails. Showed up to the testing appointment to be told that it was in the system but can’t be processed. It’s a time sensitive issue and trying to rebook elsewhere last minute is very difficult.

The phlebotomist who serviced me today was extremely unprofessional. She didn’t greet me after I greeted her, made no eye contact and obviously had an attitude. When I told her that the arm that she was attempting to draw from had smaller veins she replied, “then put your other arm on the table.” Even the way she told me to “have a good day” was curt, impersonal and implied that she wanted me out of the chair and out of the office immediately.
As someone who has also been trained in phlebotomy, I can also say that her technique was careless. She did not keep the needle steady and kept moving it in and out of my arm. She punctured the backside of my vein. She also failed to label my sample vials in my presence. One star is a generous rating for the experience that I had today.
Came in at 3:15pm, for titers. I call the phone number and said they closed at 4:30. I walked in and was immediately given attitude by the phlebotomist. “Don’t you know we close soon?” I apologized and stated the phone number said 4:30.
While taking my blood she kept telling me to hold my arm straight or she couldn’t take my blood- I have a chronic Illness I’m in labs all the time- not once have I ever been yelled at or told if my arm wasn’t straight the blood couldn’t be taken.
Please talk to this phlebotomist. I know we’re in a pandemic but you can’t be rude to people who are already in a place they don’t want to be.
She also did not wear a face shield. Which the sign in the office reminds the workers to do.

Went on the 2nd day they opened back up from closing due to covid 19. FIRST I wanna say this review is on the procedures of the company quest diagnostic not on the individual's working at this location. The person that drew my blood was wonderful I usually bruise badly or its painful but they did it in a way that was not painful at all. While the person that was taking my info was obviously 100% overwhelmed and did not have support from the company. This location is extremely understaffed I felt VERY UNSAFE!! There were no implimented measures for saftey amongst the current covid 19 pandemic. No social distancing markers, chairs were not clean or spaced out, no sanitizer available, no hand washing stations, limited signage to let you know what the process was, no proper cleaning of commonly touched surfaces such as the check in tablet that everyone uses, crowded small waiting room. I expect measures in place for my saftey and I saw none expect for masks being worn. I would also assume since the people are working in such close quarters they would be wearing face shields along with masks which they were not. This location obviously needs support from the company for the saftey of their staff and patients.
