Just had another follow-up and I can’t say enough about Dr. Frank Moore and the incredible care I’ve received since my spine procedure in late October. From the very beginning and through every follow-up visit, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional.
Dr. Moore is far more than just a physician he’s a true coach and advocate for your recovery. He genuinely wants you to get better and takes the time to guide you every step of the way. His approach is both professional and deeply personal, making you feel heard, supported, and cared for at all times.
What really stands out is his positivity and compassion. Every time he walks into the room, he brings an uplifting energy that immediately puts me at ease. He has a remarkable ability to relieve worries and anxiety, replacing them with confidence and reassurance.
If you’re looking for a spine specialist who combines expertise with empathy, dedication, and encouragement, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Moore. He is truly a rare find~a gem in every sense of the word. And I want to add his staff is also amazing helpful and miraculously, they will get you in with literally no wait time!! I am so grateful!

Dr. Goldberg performed emergency spinal surgery on me a little less than 1 year ago. His expertise, and the hard work I put in post op, has put a full recovery within my reach. I am very grateful to him and so thankful for his compassionate care.

I was in excruciating pain for two years and after depleting all my non surgical treatment, i finally opted for cervical spine surgery. I went to several surgeons for opinions and none gave me the confidence and compassion that Dr Goldberg and his staff showed me. He was sympathetic and walked me through all my symptoms and options. I knew i found the one. I had two level cervical disc replacement C5-C7. Entire process was smooth and i was at ease. i was shocked at how fast i recovered and pain free. I am so thankful. I just had my three weeks post ops appointment as i'm writing this review, passed A+ looking forward to the full recovery back doing what i was able to do. pain free. Thank you Dr Goldberg! You are the Best!

Metropolitan Neurosurgery in Englewood, NJ is one of those rare medical practices where you feel taken seriously immediately straight out the gate. The staff across the board is professional, organized, and genuinely respectful. No chaos, no confusion, no feeling like you’re being rushed through just to clear the waiting room.
The physicians here are on another level. Frank Moore, M.D. is a highly-skilled neurosurgeon - having completed over 6,000 procedures - leading with a steady confidence and skillset that immediately puts you at ease. He listens closely, explains precisely what’s going on without sugarcoating anything, and treats you like an adult who deserves straight-up answers. Jacob Goldberg, M.D. is sharp and detail-oriented, clearly thinking long-term and not just about the procedure in front of him. Yakov Gologorsky, M.D. brings deep experience and a calm, focused presence that matters when things get serious.
I’ve personally had two successful minimally invasive complex spinal surgeries through this practice—a discectomy/laminectomy, and a tri-level ACDF. Anyone with knowledge of spinal issues understands these are not small elective procedures. Both minimally-invasive yet highly-complex surgeries were handled with care, precision, and strong follow-through. The outcomes have been life-changing in the best ways possible.
Nurse Practitioner Damaris Lopez deserves special mention. She’s thorough, patient, and incredibly dialed in. Always explaining things clearly, catches details others might miss, always making sure the patient is feeling optimal, and makes sure you’re never left guessing. She be an integral component of why this place runs as smoothly as it does.
What stands out prominently is how connected the entire team feels. Communication is solid, follow-ups actually happen, and you never feel like you’re navigating this alone. A surgical coordinator is an essential member of the team in practices such as this, and here Johanny absolutely shines. Her efforts ensured all pre-op protocol and testing was completed well in-advance.
When it comes to your spine, trust matters. Metropolitan Neurosurgery earns it.
