- LKLinda Kaminsky3 days ago5.0This was our first time visiting Tender Smiles in Edison. We had an appointment for the follow week for my granddaughter to have a consultation to have 3 baby teeth pulled which were starting to cause a gum infection. We were referred here because her regular dentist said that she needed a pediatric dentist to pull the teeth. Almost overnight, the infection worsened. When I called her regular dentist, they said there was nothing more they could do for her. So even though my granddaughter wasn’t technically a patient of Dr.Ostrow’s at Tender Smiles yet, I called them and they could not have nicer. They were concerned about her gum infection, and I was able to bring my granddaughter in the same day. Jennifer greeted us at the front desk and was so kind and helpful with our check-in process. Everyone else that helped take care of my granddaughter was great - knew what needed to be done and were very sweet at the same time. Dr. Ostrow was wonderful! She pulled the three teeth that needed to come out without causing hardly any discomfort. My granddaughter was very brave, but it’s much easier to be brave when you have a very skilled doctor and an entire team that is kind and caring. We are now making Tender Smiles our new dentist even though it’s a 40 minute ride - definitely worth the trip!

Everyone from front desk staff, to the dental assistants, and Dr.Liya are not only so helpful but they are all so kind and great with kids! I highly recommend this office!
