- RRRhondaAug 14, 20251.0It's with some regret that, after nearly ten years of being a patient, my family and I will be moving our care to a new dental practice. Unfortunately, we've recently experienced a few issues that have caused us to lose confidence. The first was a medical concern: a shard of titanium was left inside my son's tooth after a procedure. We were told this happens, but it was not removed, which is concerning to us. The second was a financial policy issue: my husband's recent appointment was canceled because he was only informed of his full out-of-pocket cost on the day of service, rather than in advance. When he was unable to pay the full amount that day, he had to cancel, and he was later refused service entirely. We feel these incidents reflect a concerning lack of attention to both patient care and communication. This focus on financial policies over the well-being of long-term patients has been a major turnoff for us. As a result, we will be transferring the dental records for our family of four to a new provider.
