  This is going to be a long, thorough review so get your tea and enjoy. I have had intense dental issues since I was a child ( born without several teeth/braces for so long my roots disinigrated/ caps/fillings/root canals/bridges and more) and a huge fear of the dentist as you could imagine. I found a dentist who understood my needs/fears, who treated me for a while but after a medical issue with his spine he could no longer be a dentist. I searched all over, my fear of the dentist was intense,my teeth got worse and most just saw dollar signs because I needed *A LOT* of work done. I saw Metropolitan Dentistry was close, I've heard Dr.Upadya's name from local folks in town. I went to them for a free consultation he and Dr. Slobodian were honest they gave me several options - they knew dentures at 38 was not going to work for me! When I met Dr. Slobodian I knew he was the best person for the job he made me feel comfortable, was not pushy, very thorough at explaining everything. From day one he was 100% invested in helping me get my smile back. So many other dentists and surgeons I visited in the past just saw dollar signs, and tried to get me to do the most expensive option possible without even knowing if it would work or not! I could tell he was genuine about wanting to help me have a beautiful and healthy smile. His office had an anesthesiologist/ plus their assistant present during my entire surgery (removed all of my top teeth/cleaned infection). His surgical expertise is second to none and I will tell that to everyone and anyone with complete confidence. He followed up, always responded to messages quickly, and ensured I was healing appropriately. I had the entire top set of teeth done, and some bone grafting as well. Though the process for me was a little longer than most, it was just my own healing process. He always ensured I had a full smile while healing. He took lots of care scanning, reviewing, creating my perfect smile. When I tell you, he did EVERYTHING and anything to ensure I was happy and my smile was *exactly* what I dreamed it would be, he did. He treated me like I was his own family from day one. His office staff, dental assistant staff are all incredibly kind and helpful. His one dental assistant Orley is the best, she always made sure I felt safe, comfortable and happy . Thanks to Dr.Slobodian have the most gorgeous and healthy smile. My fears of the dentist have improved greatly as well, thanks to his calm, caring nature and willingness to help his patients no matter what the circumstance. So, if you are scared, or on the fence if dental implants are the right choice to help you get your smile back I would highly recommend Dr. Slobodian and his team. There truly is no one better.
