  Joy Lehar is pure force-of-nature energy—in the best possible way. Our Cardio Sculpt classes require collective energy, and Joy knows exactly how to pull it out of us. It’s electric, motivating, and honestly what makes the workout hit differently. I personally need an instructor with a wireless mic tied into the sound system—otherwise I can barely hear the cues. That alone has kept me from going to other studios or taking other instructors’ classes. Joy cuts through all of that. I can hear her clearly, follow along, and her ability to demo each move gives me exactly the model I need. My body has been completely reshaped under Joy’s guidance. Her expertise shows in every class—nothing is random, everything has purpose—and she somehow keeps it all fresh with an endless repertoire of exercises. She moves seamlessly between the reformer, chair, barre, and TRX with total confidence, getting us set up quickly but always safely. What really sets her apart is how dialed-in she is to each person. If something feels off, she’s right there with a smart modification that still challenges you without compromising your body. I’ve been to multiple studios—Oakland, West Caldwell, Rockaway, Morristown, Wayne—and Denville is hands down the best. The studio is spotless, the front desk staff is genuinely helpful, and the instructors are kind and welcoming to beginners (which hasn’t always been my experience elsewhere). Having two studios in Denville means more class options and more instructor variety, which is amazing—but truthfully, I’m a full-on Joy Lehar groupie. Cardio-Sculpt is everything. The music drives the rhythm, the energy is unmatched, and the intensity pushes you in a way that feels powerful, not overwhelming. The regulars create such a supportive, uplifting environment—it’s clear Joy has built a loyal following. Thank you, Alisa, for keeping Joy in the instructor rotation in Denville. Otherwise, I’d be driving all over North Jersey trying to track her down. And since your studio is by far the best, I’d much rather keep spending my time right here in Denville.

  I am so happy to be a member of the Pilates club; my body and mind have transformed over the course of a year. Instructors like Magdalena, Caitlyn, Rebecca, Valaire, and Nathalie—and indeed all the instructors—are highly professional, friendly, and, in a word: incredible. Alexandra, manager of Denville and Rockaway, is a spectacular manager. Girls at the front desk are lovely and are always there to assist us. Thank you, Club Pilates Staff, for being part of my life. ❤️

  Love it here! Super friendly spot on instructors and the vibe is welcoming. They will correct your form without making you feel stupid, and the classes are challenging but never soul-crushing. Clean studio, chill group vibe, no pretentious nonsense. Totally worth it if you want to feel stronger without killing yourself in the gym — I always look forward to the classes because the feeling I walk out with never gets old.

  I absolutely love coming to the Denville Club Pilates studio! It’s conveniently located. The instructors and staff are amazing. The classes are challenging and fun. The studio is clean and organized. There are plenty of classes and time slots available to meet my needs.

  Coming out of breast cancer treatment, I wasn’t sure how I would ever feel strong or comfortable in my body again. Chemotherapy made recovery especially difficult, and after multiple surgeries, I needed something gentle yet effective to help me regain movement and confidence. Club Pilates Denville has truly been a game changer for me. The workouts offer the perfect balance of strength training and stretching—exactly what my body needed to heal and rebuild. I’ve noticed a real difference in how I move and feel day to day. What stands out most is how accommodating and supportive the instructors have been. They are understanding of my limitations and always help me modify exercises when needed, creating a safe and encouraging environment. A special shoutout to my favorite instructor, Joy—she truly lives up to her name and brings joy to every class. Her positive energy and encouragement make each session something I look forward to. I’m so grateful to have found a place that not only supports physical recovery but also helps restore a sense of normalcy and strength. I would highly recommend Club Pilates Denville to anyone, especially those on a healing journey.
