  Shout out to the best practice we’ve ever been to. Atmosphere is great, everybody is nice and welcoming, nurses are amazing, and Dr. Hoffmann (sorry if I misspelled) was absolutely great and extremely professional. Thank you!!

  new patient, looking at you reviews, all about the doctors are outstanding but you office staff, seems to be the problem, I have an appointment in April, and pray the review I read isn't true about your staff, "office staff and billing department have really let me down. I’ve been a patient at this location since I was a little girl (starting w/ Dr. F) but the customer service has declined so much over the years. I reached out about settling an outstanding bill and didn’t receive a response for over a month. When they finally got back to me, they told me I couldn’t make another appointment until the balance was paid in full. Why would I start a payment plan if they won’t even let me continue care in the meantime? There was no empathy, compassion, or effort to work with me so I could get the care I need for my eyes. It’s really disappointing, but the lack of customer service from the office staff has made it impossible to stay. Sadly, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — and it’s unfortunate to see how poor communication and lack of understanding are driving loyal patients away."

  “Dr. Ryan is an awesome, highly accurate, and truly accomplished eye doctor—his skill, thoroughness, and patient-focused approach make every visit exceptional. Beyond his expertise, he volunteers his time to help special education children, checking their eyes and serving as a supportive big brother and father figure to help them improve and thrive. That’s the kind of dedication that sets him apart! The staff is outstanding from start to finish: welcoming and efficient receptionists, knowledgeable eye prep technicians, and experienced opticians who handle glasses and contacts with real craftsmanship and personalized care. Special shout-out to the wonderful ‘eye glass lady’ (the optician)—she’s charming and incredibly patient throughout the selection process, guiding you with a heavenly personality that makes choosing frames and lenses feel relaxed, enjoyable, and stress-free. This practice stands out with multiple convenient locations across Central New Jersey (including Somerville and Bridgewater) and continued expansion, making high-quality eye care more accessible than ever. The Bridgewater, NJ location is especially accommodating, featuring a handicap-accessible entrance and exit, plus dual bathrooms that are spacious, completely odor-free, and impeccably clean—like something out of Buckingham Palace! I recommend them wholeheartedly to family members, friends, coworkers, neighbors—anyone! You’re in excellent, professional hands here. I can’t praise Dr. Ryan and his amazing team well enough.
