  hope this review helps even one person make a more informed decision. Based on my experience, I would not recommend RMA or its affiliated locations. Throughout my treatment, I often felt that important information about the process, potential side effects, and what to expect was not clearly explained in advance. Unfortunately, I ended up learning many things only after experiencing difficult side effects. During one particularly distressing incident where I was bleeding and extremely upset, both a nurse and doctor came into the room, but the interaction felt very clinical and lacking in empathy. In such a vulnerable moment, compassion and reassurance would have made a significant difference. What has been most difficult is that the physical and emotional effects of the hormone injections did not end with the procedure. Recovery has taken months, and I wish there had been more transparency about the potential impact beforehand so I could have been better prepared. I generally avoid leaving negative reviews because I understand that every organization can have off days. However, fertility treatment is such a sensitive and life-altering process that patients deserve clear communication, empathy, and full transparency. That was not my experience.

  RMA had serious misconduct on my wife’s case and killed my first baby. Our first transfer of embryo was actually successful. But the female doctor told us she cannot see it from ultrasound while HCG is growing as expected. RMA asked my wife to take medication to abort it. We refused. They reiterated it would be dangerous if it grows in the tube of my wife. Eventually my wife took the medication to abort with tear. However, the HCG still kept growing. During the second ultrasound, another male doctor surprisingly said he could see the baby who was actually fine. It was obvious in ultrasound. But we had to continue to abort since my wife already took the medication. Otherwise, the baby may have defects. However, the baby was still growing. My wife had to continue to take the medications and eventually aborted it. I buried my baby in my backyard. That is the only male embryo we have. The doctors in RMA are not responsible. They rotate and do very sloppy jobs. The second transfer in RMA was successful. After that, I decided to move to Valley Hospital in Paramus, NJ. Different from the doctors in RMA who are rotating, the doctor in Valley is the same doctor to oversee the same patient from the beginning to the end. Everything was smooth and I got a baby boy. I have two babies now, but we are still missing the baby buried in my backyard. RMA killed him by mistake. My wife is still blaming me that I decided not to file lawsuit against RMA. BTW, I chose RMA because my insurance company told me RMA has high success rate. Later on, I realized I was cheated. They suggest me to use RMA because it is not in the network of my insurance company and I have to pay everything out of my own pocket. Insurance won’t cover it. Valley hospital is in the network of my major insurance company. Insurance has to pay if I choose Valley Hospital. I am sharing my experience because i don’t want the same thing happen on other families.

  Coffee machine is broken, I told the desk people 2 times and they both were like we will check it in few minutes and then they did nothing. Just sitting and waiting for me to go away. They should’ve pretended that they were busy at least. I was waiting 30 minutes and couldn’t even drink water.

  Dr Bollig and her team is just the best. So thoughtful, kind and caring and willing to answer the many questions that come up during the treatment process. Go see her!!!

  Since 2018 we started with RMA with Dr. Rybak who is under paid and most dedicated we have ever had and we made the worst decision to move to Dr. Shefali M. Shastri because of Dr. Rybak full scheduling and timing, we were advised that she was the best, which is completely false (stay away from this doctor BELIEVE ME!) Rybak is a better choice as he took his time to explain every detail and not just run through it like we already know. Even when my wife and I went through 3 miscarriages, he refused to give up with dieting, testing, and everything. We decided to do surrogacy but the timing again with Rybak was just bad timing and wanted to proceed, so we decided to go with Shastri who speaks super fast, expects you to know everything, and no compassion to our situation at all. With over 7 years of loyalty, thousands of dollars invested, and countless testing and probing she just threw us to the side and said go to another clinic. We were promising at first but after the first surrogate didn't work out because of obvious reason, my sister was excited to do it after we tried not to go with family as we thought it would be emotionally tough but she was excited. My sister is an introvert, hard of hearing, and not the best in communication if she doesn't know you but sweet, healthy and willing to have our baby still. My sister passed the medical but when Dr. Jennifer Gamper counselor tried to ask questions my sister probably didn't understand but did answer one question wrong without a translator to help her explain, so they deemed her not qualified of coercion, not competent, or smart enough to go further with our surrogacy. To me that means she was forced and not smart enough to be a surrogate. She just went on to just tell us to look for another agency and move on, without a second opinion, an interpreter, or options to even look for another surrogate. (WHAT!?!) With the love of my family, I took that personal with a bad day at work already, yes I went off on the doctor and I guess being a black man in society she felt threaten and took the "Karen" right out of what I explain that my sister is competent as she has a high school diploma and 2 years of community college education but with a sign language interpreter would give her a chance to explain why she said what she said and further with more questions. She basic told us to go someplace else and not even transfer to another doctor or any other options. I called to apologize sincerely, as I am not that type of person but when translated from messages left and not from my words, she even scared to hear from me directly as she would only speak to my wife moving forward. She had her team in her office today as witnesses, to just schedule time to say she will not move forward with us at all and not one from RMA will ever work with us again. Basically black ball us from RMA and to go someplace else. Basically a letter will sent to make it official, but why tell us then just send a letter. My wife defended by saying it was unfair of not even a chance to remedy the apologizes from her husband and to find a compromise moving forward to fix or even give us the chance to have a child. I would like a call from a manger to explain if this procedure and the zero tolerance policies, if any, as I am not the only patient or client who can get emotional of bad outcomes. This Dr. Shastri seem to not have compassion for the emotions as us patients go through with this process and the loses we endure. Conflict resolution should be part of these doctor's skills and knowing that we are emotional creature of God and was in a bad way dealing with all the day to day of our lives that can build to this one bad day out of many with have spent driving or early mornings with RMA, is just unfair.
