I'm very please with the eye care at Eyesight Ophthalmic. They are the best & our family trust them with our eye care.
This was my six year old grandson's first eye appointment. Everyone was very kind and made my grandson comfortable with the eye exam.

This is a top of the line practice-intake, preparation to see the doctor (medical assistance) and time spent with Doctor. Very professional, patient centered, patient and able to listen to, and answer questions in plain language as well as in very personable manners. I consider myself most fortunate to be s patient of this practice and Dr. Hamer
I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early. I was greeted and checked in. I waited another 10 minutes or so. Then I was escorted to a Laser Room to await my procedure with Dr. Sears.
In my initial session with the Dr., he described the way things would go for the laser to reduce the pressure in my eyes. “Your eyes will be numb so you won’t feel anything.”
As I remained in the laser room, 30 minutes went by, nobody, no doctor. After another 20 minutes, -another patient was brought into a room across from me. As the Technician began to walk away without a word, I asked him when would the Dr.be in for my procedure- I have been here for an hour! He apologized and said the Dr. was attending to some emergencies. I then replied, ‘It would have been nice if someone had come to let me know that an hour ago!’ He apologized for that and within another 5 minutes, the Dr. showed up. Who also began apologizing for taking advantage of my time.
Very dissatisfied with this appointment. The procedure was very painful at certain times and when it was finished; there was no way I could drive home! I realize different people have different results & may be more sensitive to pain than others. In any case, my experience was not one of satisfaction.

My experience at iSight Ophthalmic Services in Somersworth was disappointing.
My daughter had an appointment scheduled, and I pulled her out of school to bring her in, only to find out the doctor had called out and no one had communicated it. So she was not able to be seen that day. It was later rescheduled, but when we returned, we were surprised in the waiting area by a fully shackled inmate escorted by two sheriff’s deputies, which was a pretty unsettling experience for my child.
On top of that, I received bills totaling $455 each for what were roughly 20 minute appointments. I had expected these to be covered by insurance, but apparently you need to be extremely careful how things are worded and how they make submission to your insurance.
Overall, nothing about this experience stood out in a positive way. I would be cautious about insurance handling here and would not recommend going out of your way to book with this office.
