  Liz is an amazing hygienist. She took the time to explain and go over with details what she was going to do. I felt comfortable and welcomed from reception to the doctor and Liz.

  I had such a wonderful experience at Piscataqua Dental! My hygienist, Rosa, is truly amazing—she’s incredibly gentle and has such a kind, caring presence that immediately puts you at ease. I had to bring all three of my kids with me to my appointment (5 months, 4, and 6), and the entire staff went above and beyond. They were so kind, welcoming, and engaging with my kids, which allowed me to actually relax and get my cleaning done in peace—something any parent knows is no small thing! I’m so grateful to have found a dental office that takes such great care of both me and my family. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist in the Kittery/Portsmouth area.

  I can’t say enough good things about Rosa. As someone with health anxiety, dental visits have always been stressful for me, but my experience with her completely changed that. From the moment I sat down, Rosa was incredibly calm, patient, and understanding. She took the time to explain everything before doing it, checked in with me frequently, and never made me feel rushed or dismissed. That level of communication made a huge difference in helping me stay relaxed. I described my visit as spa like, with her low lighting also added to the relaxing environment. What really stood out was her compassion. Rosa is clearly very skilled and thorough, but also genuinely kind, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and empathy. She created an environment where I felt respected and even reassured, which is not something I’ve ever associated with dental visits before. If you struggle with anxiety, especially around health or dental care, I would highly recommend Rosa. This was easily the most comfortable and positive experience I’ve had the dentist.

  After working with Dr. Rose professionally, between my office and hers, I was very interested in seeing her myself as a patient. She is extremely patient and understanding. She explained everything in a way that made sense, the timeline of how we needed to proceed with my care, and listened to my concerns/what I wanted to prioritize. I also took my dad to see her for his dental care and she was wonderful. She was very honest and compassionate towards him, while helping him navigate a very tricky situation he is going through. She was honest about her scope of expertise and I appreciate she knew it was not something she could tackle on her own, and wanted him to see another provider for the best care possible for his situation. She even followed up with me today on his care to make sure he is doing well, and has his next appointments lined up. Anyone is lucky to see her as a dentist and I’m so happy that my job connected me with her!!
