- MDMel DugganJul 17, 20242.0I actually never got to attend my first class at this studio due to being 5 minutes late. As someone who has been involved with group fitness for over two decades, both as an instructor and a participant, I can completely empathize that sometimes having someone come in late can be disruptive. I also know that life happens and that people don’t intentionally try to miss their class, or more importantly their personal time. As a new mom, getting out of the house in and of itself was a triumph- when I got to the studio, admittedly late, I was told I couldn’t enter. I had purposely signed up for a stretching and rejuvenating class so the risk of injury to myself coming in late and not warming up was nonexistent- this didn’t matter, a policy was a policy at this studio. For it being my first visit to Club Pilates Portsmouth and my first real venture away from my new baby this experience was off putting and unfortunate. Let’s all try to give eachother a bit more grace when we can.

Club Pilates has a wide selection of classes and really wonderful instructors. I always leave feeling like it was just what I needed. I would recommend it to anyone to give it a try. You might just get hooked like me!

However, when you try to schedule a session, many times they are booked. The staff “tries to “ help. Today I was notified that I was happily accepted to a class that started 12 minutes before they texted me! I had to argue with them about charging me for this session.

There is a great selection of times available for classes and a wide variety of class types for all levels and interests. Classes fill up but you can often get off the waitlist for classes.
