Horrible experience. Went to have my husband’s lab work done to monitor his cancer treatments. Staff told us not only did they not receive the orders from the doctor which we confirmed were sent through the quest portal, but told us orders needed to be printed out. They would not accept orders that were sent electronically. Waited hours there for nothing. Ended up having to call his doctor to have orders sent to a completely different lab who got us in and out no problem.

Maria was wonderful during my blood draw this morning. she helped me resolve an issue with the orders from my provider and was a very calm presence. I, like most people, do not like needles so she made it a calm and quick process. It was over before I knew it ! many thanks to Maria !

Unfortunately I had an adverse reaction to the glucose tolerance test. I became sick including dizzy, confused, nauseous, rapid heart beat and faint. The confusion made it difficult to call my doctor’s office (who ordered the test) go through extensive phone triage and wait times. I never reached anyone at my doctor’s office. This happened while I was in the waiting room. To get help I knocked on the lab door and the technician who did the initial blood draw came to the door. He was in the midst of eating and I explained to him I wasn’t feeling well and could not proceed with the test. He literally just stared at me and continued chewing so again I told him I was not feeling well and had to leave. He just stared and said nothing. Again I explained I wasn’t feeling well and could not continue with the test. He said nothing. So I turned around to sit down because I was faint. Through the door I heard him ask someone what he should do and a woman responded he should call my doctor. I sat in the waiting room another 30 minutes waiting for my husband to arrive to drive me home. During that time no one checked on me or relayed any information (not a single Quest staff member came to the waiting room). Just nothing. This was a horrible experience and their lack of care or response is potentially litigious let alone inhumane.
