I went in today for an eye exam. I haven’t been there in along time they receptionist took her time with me and filled out all my info in the computer and was very Pleasant and very good with talking to people and making them feel comfortable, Jim along with someone she looked like she was training . The doctor was very nice and knowledgeable . Then I went to pick out glasses and the last who was there to great me was so nice and sweet and we chatted it up while she got my measurements. I will say over all a great experience.

I’m very disappointed with my experience here. I went in for an eye exam and received my prescription. They told me to go home and wait about two weeks for a call because their system was down. It has now been over two weeks and I never received any call or update. When I finally called them myself, they told me there had been a system glitch and no orders were placed. It’s frustrating that no one followed up or informed me about the issue. I expected much better communication and service.

I stopped at the Manchester LensCrafters to get some repairs on my eyeglasses when I was traveling. Liam the manager was very helpful To us as out of town travelers and quickly fixed our glasses. I shared with Liam that I had purchased my first pair of glasses at a LensCrafters in Albany NY, more that 40 years ago. I am now 79 years old. The glasses that Liam worked on were not purchased from LensCrafters, but they helped us anyway. Very commendable. Thanks.

The rep laughed and spoke to us in a rude way when we asked for assistance with a pair of glasses. We left. A customer lost. Remember that. It's not a good business plan.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
