  i made an appointment at Miracle Ear after getting a card in the mail with a promise of a $20 Panera Gift Card. I went with my wife, got locked in a room and went thru all of the audiology Tone Test. The Audiologist was great at explaining everything to my wife and i on how my hearing was in both ears. Getting down to business he asked about my insurance and told him Harvard Pilgrim and he asked if i minded if he called to find out the benefit and i answered no. in his call to them, he put it on speaker so we could hear. He told HP Representative that the aids for both ears were approx $3200 and change ( i dont remember exact number). Representative said they allow $1500 per ear, so there would be no cost to me. Even Audiologist said no cost to me. i was ready to but them right there After getting off phone i trialed the miracle ear in both ears after he programmed them based on my hearing loss. He talked about how i could upgrade within 12 months. i asked the price for upgrade and he said he would have to check. i also asked about rechargeable battery and he said he would have to get back to me . I Had to call a couple of times to get a follow up. When he did call, he said he was off about the insurance info. The amount to me would be $1952, but we could work out a payment plan. i asked what he was talking about ., it was supposed to be no cost to me,and he said i misunderstood, Insurance was talking about no cost to me for deductibles. He denied giving a price to the insurance company even though my wife and i both heard him. He also told me there was no cost to me. When he came back with that price, i asked why did he not tell me that info then? Being March he should know what his products pricing is. i would stay away from this company. Cant be trusted. i also did not get my promised Panera Gift Card. Also going to the website shows a Buy 1 get 1 free offer for the same Hearing aids he was going to charge me almost $5000 for, which he did not offer me.
