- MCMiranda Cloutier4 days ago2.0I understand healthcare costs money but I am maxed out on my deductible & OOP max and still ended up paying for a refraction that I did not receive. I wish they had looked at my medical history when I inquired about a medical appointment. I liked the person that helped me and felt that she did a good job evaluating my eyes. However, they didn't give me a fresh prism refraction and insisted that I need additional appointments with Dr. Nick instead where I will likely continue to pay. I felt that it was an unfair expense for the refraction I did not receive since they already had BVD and prism glasses recorded in their system about me from previous visits. I felt like they were a bit frustrated with me for asking clarifying questions regarding the costs which made me uncomfortable.

I had to switch to progressives, which I struggled with, and eventually it turned out I also needed prism correction. The office only covered the cost of one set of replacement lenses, even though the prescription was still incorrect and prisms could have been included from the beginning. When I raised my concerns, their response was: "Maybe Walmart will have cheaper lenses." That was unprofessional and dismissive. I won't be returning. UPDATE: They contacted me after this review and made things right. Adding +1 star
- MWMatt WardJul 7, 20253.0Nice facility. Staff and doctors pleasant and professional, if a little rushed. Dissatisfaction centered around the fact that they do not participate with ANY vision plans. They do work with the major carriers in regards to routine services that are covered under a medical plan. You are on your own for anything outside of that; e.g. purchase of frames, lenses, contacts, etc.. You can submit for reimbursement, however, those reimbursement rates are substantially lower than they would be otherwise. I'm sure this makes things simpler for them as a business, but, it's a true inconvenience for patients that leads to more out-of-pocket burden.
